Judging will begin promptly at 11AM on Saturday - September 10. Cars will be judged by class. With First and Second place Awards being awarded in each Class. In the event of a tie in a given class, class judges will determine the winner; Head judge may be consulted if necessary. Best of show will be picked from the top class winners based on highest score. In the event of a tie for best of show, the Head judge and four other judges will determine the winner. More rigid re-judging of the contenders may be necessary. All cars are to be judged in the context of when they were new. (Customs and Hot Rods will be judged on aesthetics and overall craftsmanship). Points will not to be deducted for safety items as long as the installation is neat and orderly. These are items like turn signals, seatbelts, a second tail lamp on early cars etc. Points will not be deducted for an aftermarket radio installed in the dash in the original location or in a neat and orderly workman like fashion. Teams will judge the show cars. Each team will be made up of a minimum of three people. The judges will score each car using the 100-point scoring ballot. With ten, ten point categories. Each judge should score the car individually, on each of the 10 categories. Judges will notdiscuss the scores until they have all completed scoring each car. The judges will then average their scores together to obtain the 10 scores for the ballot. The 10 averaged category scores will then be added together on the official scoring ballot to determine the cars final score. JUDGES WILL BE FAIR AND IMPARTIAL AT ALL TIMES. Judges will not discuss scores for individual categories until all judges are finished. We want judging to be fair and impartial. Be they positive or negative, Judges will not make any comments about cars to each other or to car owners while judging cars. Categories • Best Corvette
